1. Who we are
Glided Spin is operated by Momentum Studio Ltd. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). For any privacy question, request or complaint, email privacy@glidedspin.com.
2. Staying anonymous
You can play every game without telling us who you are – no account needed. If you create a free account, your display name can be a nickname. We only need a real email address if you write to us and want a reply.
3. What we collect and hold, and how
Visiting the site
- Information
- IP address, time of request, page requested, referring page and browser details.
- How
- Recorded automatically by our hosting provider's web servers when your browser asks for a page.
- Held
- In server logs, deleted on the host's rotation schedule.
A free account
- Information
- Display name, email address, the state or territory you chose, and your sign-up date. There is no password.
- How
- You type it into the sign-up form.
- Held
- Only in your own browser. It is never sent to us, so we do not hold it.
Writing to us
- Information
- Your email address, your name if you give it, and whatever you write.
- How
- You send us an email. Our forms just open your own email app – they send nothing themselves.
- Held
- In our mailbox, with our email service provider.
Starting a game
- Information
- Your IP address and technical connection details.
- How
- When you press Play, your browser connects directly to the servers of Play'n GO, the studio that makes the games.
- Held
- By Play'n GO under its own privacy policy (playngo.com). We do not receive this information.
We do not collect payment details, government identifiers or sensitive information such as health information.
4. Why we use it
- To deliver the website and keep it secure.
- To make account features work on your device.
- To answer your messages and handle your requests.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We do not use your information for direct marketing, we do not send promotional emails, and we never sell or rent personal information.
5. Who receives it
Our hosting provider (Hostinger) and our email service provider handle information on our behalf so the site and our inbox work. Play'n GO collects information directly when you start a game, as described above. We share information with nobody else unless the law requires it.
6. Information that goes overseas
Personal information about you is likely to be handled in these countries outside Australia:
- United Kingdom – Glided Spin is run from there, and that is where we read and answer your emails.
- Lithuania (European Union) – where our hosting provider, Hostinger, is established. Server logs are stored in the Hostinger data centre that hosts this site.
- The country of the Play'n GO server your browser connects to when you start a game – Play'n GO collects that information itself, under its own policy.
Our email service provider may also process emails on servers in other countries. Ask us at any time for the current list.
7. Your device: cookies and local storage
We set no cookies of our own and run no advertising or analytics tools. Your browser's local storage keeps a note that you have seen our storage notice, your confirmation that you are 21+ and eligible, and – if you create one – your free account and whether you are logged in. You can wipe all of it by clearing this site's data in your browser. Inside the game window, Play'n GO may store its own data under its policy.
8. Security and retention
The site is only served over encrypted HTTPS. Server logs are deleted automatically on rotation. Emails are deleted within six months of your matter being closed, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
9. Seeing or correcting your information
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing privacy@glidedspin.com. It is free, and we will respond within 30 days. If we ever have to refuse, we will tell you why in writing and how you can complain (see section 10). Your account details are stored only in your browser: you can delete them at any time on the log-in page or by clearing this site's data, and you can change them by creating a new account.
10. Making a complaint
If you think we have mishandled your personal information, email privacy@glidedspin.com with the details. We will acknowledge your complaint within 7 days, look into it, and give you a written response within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
11. Automated decisions
Two simple checks run automatically in your own browser: the age-and-residence confirmation before your first game, and the sign-up form, which won't create an account if you choose a region where Glided Spin isn't available. They use only what you enter, nothing is sent to us, and they do not significantly affect your rights or interests – they simply apply our eligibility rules. We make no other automated decisions about you.
12. Age and changes
Glided Spin is open only to adults aged 21 or over who live in Germany, in Australia, or in a Canadian province or territory other than Québec and Ontario, and who use the site from there. Residents of Québec, Ontario and every other country are not permitted to use it. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21; if you think we have, tell us and we will delete it. If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top and point out significant changes on the site.
